IOWA CITY– Liberty High’s varsity football debut opened on a sour note on the road Friday, Aug. 24, at Iowa City High as the Little Hawks flew through the Lightning to a 38-21 win over the “Bolts.”
Liberty trailed 17-0 at halftime, but rallied back with three touchdowns in the third quarter.
