IC West’s combined bowling teams fall to CR Kennedy in season opener
IOWA CITY– Iowa City West High’s combined (with bowlers from Liberty High and Clear Creek Amana (CCA)) girls and boys bowling teams opened the 2020-2021 season Friday, Dec. 18, at home against Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
The Cougars swept the Trojans, with the varsity boys falling 2,938 to 2,505, the junior varsity (JV) boys falling 2,593 to 2,084, and the varsity girls falling 2,341 to 2,044. Kennedy did not bring a JV girls squad, which led to something of an inter-squad scrimmage.
