59 Straight!

IOWA CITY- Two more Big Ten teams went down as the top ranked Hawkeye wrestlers keep on rolling.
Iowa opened up the weekend by pinning Northwestern Friday at Carver, 49-0.
When I said pinning I meant it as five Hawks had falls and Montell Marion won a forfeit at 141.
That's eight shutouts for the year, which is a school record.
It was good to see Ryan Morningstar get a pin as he has a tendency to keep the matches close.
Brent Metcalf had his 15th pin of the season and his 46 career falls ties him for seventh all-time with current head coach Tom Brands.
It's always fun to stomp the Minnesota Gophers, especially in Minneapolis.
Seven wins for the Hawks, six with bonus points, which adds up to a 28-9 victory last Sunday night.
"In a dual meet like this you need bonus points and we got them early," said Iowa head coach Tom Brands.
It was good to see Montell Marion get a 15-7 major decision at 141. Montell was pinned the last time Iowa wrestled the Gophers. That was his fourth straight win and he, as well as the team, are picking up momentum going into the final two weeks of the season.
Matt McDonough (125), Brent Metcalf (149), Jay Borschel (174) and Dan Erekson (Hwt) are still undefeated and lead the No. 1 Hawkeyes.
