NORTH LIBERTY- The North Central Jr. High 8th grade girls' basketball team faced opponent Northwest Jr. High Green on Thursday, Jan. 14.
The Knights outpaced the green and gold on their home court, finishing 25-19 in the A game and 16-12 in the B game.
The lady Knights, with 27 girls on the roster, have completed their 2010 winter season. The A team ended with a 4-5 record, while the B team reversed that stat with a 5-4 record for the season.
"Overall, the North Central Knights had a very successful basketball season," said coach Stacey Melchert. "Coach Ian Ely-Cate and I were very impressed with hard work and dedication each player brought to the court"
